2011-2012
AHA Winter Tier Structure
Captains,
Summer has been busy for the administrators and more than a
few Captains within the Adult Hockey Association. Over the
past few months with your help we have solicited your
opinions and recommendations and reviewed teams in every
tier in the league. Due to overall growth in participation
and ongoing efforts to provide parity and safety of play for
all players in AHA, we have decided the timing is right to
insert a tier between C2 and D1. As you’ll see in the
outline below, the new tier will be… you guessed it: “C3”.
Listed below is where we have each returning winter team
slated for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. Consistent with
previous seasons, the league administrators will also be
working with select teams to address certain individual
players and their playing eligibility within the new tier
structure.
Please discuss these developments with your team members and
if you are concerned with the Tier that we currently have
you identified to participate in next year, please send your
proposed roster for the upcoming season to your Tier
Administrator.
